Now available with three ultra-quiet DC actuators, Invacare's 820DLX series beds offer healthcare facilites a value-priced bed with all the features and durability needed for long-term care environments. The 820DLX beds have a unique expandable mattress deck that accepts both 76" and 80" mattresses. With a travel range of 13 1/2” to 27, the 820DLX beds are ideal for a broad range of resident care.  An underbed clearance of 7” allows for easy access with overbed tables and patient transfers.

Electrical or Manual Operations
The 820-3M has three DC motors to adjust the hi-low, head, and knee functions of the bed. Keyed and color-coded plugs in the motor housing helps to ensure easy replacements if required. The comfort controls of the bed can be adjusted using the 6-function, fluid-proof, shock-resistant, and impact resistant Hand Control. An optional lock-out switch is available to restrict the hi-low, head, and knee functions of the Hand Control. The 820 is also available in manual operation with three individual hand cranks.

Mattress Deck
The mattress deck is available in perforated pan or grid styles. The ability to expand the grid deck to 76” or 80” in length provides a versatile bed for use within your entire resident population. Molded corner mattress keepers prevent mattress slippage during transfers.

Invacare offers nine different bed end styles in eight finishes.  Each bed end style is designed to compliment our full line of resident room furnishings.  Choose between economical melamine, durable high-pressure laminate or stylish wood veneer construction.

Carroll Assist Rail™
Meets all FDA Guidelines!  Our Assist Rail moves into three positions: Assist which aids in resident bed transfers, Guard which helps to prevent residents identify the edges of the bed and reduce rolling out, and Transfer which provides staff with unobstructed resident access.

6 Function Hand Control
The hand control on the 820-3MDLX beds features bright, universal symbols that allow residents and caregivers to easily operate the comfort controls of the bed. The hand control can be plugged in to either side of the bed making it more accessible for the resident and is completely fluid-proof.
